Late night phone messages waiting
I delete them unheard.

The sink is, without a doubt, plugged
With hair, fat and slime
I haven’t got time
And my plumber he merely shrugged

Coats her bedroom window panes
Rusted AC leaks
As Rhonda, my neighbor waits
For the Sheriff’s to evict her

Constant bickering
Makes the summer days longer
Marriage is seasonal
