So, I’ve started to look at Interactive Fiction and Visual Novels as a way to share my work and design multiple stream narratives and evolving poetry. I’ve spent the last month investigating Twine, Game Book Maker and options for creation (inclusing 2d software such as Cartoon Animator 4 from Reallusion for my workflows. There’s lots to like and consider as I experiment.
Here’s a simple sad sack character that I upload an AI voice to based on my own work and poetry. He wobbles drunkenly in place and talks about his trials and errors. It’s an engaging and fun process to design work like this. I’m not sure where any of this is going – but that’s the joy of this work too – the experimentation, the discovery process and the evolution of my own artistry.
